Bright Birthday Card
This birthday card uses a few simple supplies to shout out "Happy Birthday" to someone special. Assembly is quick and relatively easy, so you can present a hand made birthday greeting on short notice.
Supplies:
- Nasturtium, Garden Series (FiberMark)
- Aster, Cobblestone (FiberMark)
- Blue cardstock (unknown)
- Ivory Card & Envelope (JoAnn Craft Essentials)
- Happy Birthday/Cake stamp (PSX)
- Happy Birthday sentiment stamp (Comotion)
- Silver embossing powder and heat gun
- Sakura Glaze and Soufle pens
- Balloon Confetti Glue Dots, Tombo mono-glue, double-stick tape
Instructions:
- Stamp Happy Birthday/Cake image on 4"x4" Nasturtium paper; heat emboss with silver.
- Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment on 2"x3" Nasturtium paper; heat emboss with silver; trim to 1 3/4" x 2 3/4".
- Mount Happy Birthday sentiment on 2"x3" Aster; trim; mount on inside of card.
- Mount 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Aster on front of card
- Color the large Happy Birthday/Cake image in with Sakura Glaze and Soufle pens; trim; mount on blue cardstock; trim again and use 3-D squares to mount on front of card.
- Randomly affix balloon confetti to front of card.
- Affix single balloon confetti to 1/2" square of Nasturtium and mount on envelope.
